TechieKhalid respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data. TechieKhalid is a brand and trade name operated by an independent freelancer based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. References to "we", "us", and "TechieKhalid" refer to that freelancer in their individual capacity.
1. Data we collect
We collect data you provide directly (name, email, company, country, phone — whenever you fill out a contact, quote, or newsletter form).
We collect data automatically when you visit our site (IP address, user agent, referrer, pages visited, approximate location). This is collected via our own server logs and our hosting provider's standard request logs.
2. How we use your data
We use your data to (a) provide the services you've requested, (b) communicate with you about your project or subscription, (c) improve our site and products via aggregated analytics, and (d) comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties beyond the processors listed in section 4.
3. Legal basis for processing
We process your data on one of the following bases: your consent (e.g. newsletter), the performance of a contract (e.g. service delivery), our legitimate interests (e.g. analytics, security), or a legal obligation (e.g. tax records).
4. Sharing & sub-processors
We use the following sub-processors: Vercel (hosting), Resend (transactional email), and our payment processor (only when you place an order). Each is bound by their own data-processing terms and processes data only as instructed.
We do not transfer your data to other third parties unless required by law.
5. Data retention
Lead/contact form data: 24 months after the last interaction.
Subscriber and order data: for the duration of your subscription plus 7 years for tax records.
Server logs: 90 days.
Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
6. International transfers
Our infrastructure is hosted on Vercel and may be served from EU, US, or Middle East regions. Where data leaves Saudi Arabia, transfers occur in accordance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) cross-border transfer rules. Where applicable to EU or UK data subjects, we additionally rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing, and port your data. You also have the right to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
