These Terms govern your use of the TechieKhalid website, products, and services. By using any of them, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service description
TechieKhalid provides software products (one-time purchase and subscription), custom software development services, and engineering consulting. Specific deliverables are described on the relevant product or service page or in a signed engagement letter.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract to use our services. If you're using the services on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organization.
3. Account & security
You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Subscriptions & billing
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period. We will notify you of any price changes at least 30 days in advance. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. By providing payment information you agree to the processor's terms.
5. Refunds & cancellations
One-time product purchases include a 14-day money-back guarantee. Subscription cancellations stop future renewals but the current period is non-refundable, except at our discretion. Custom development work and consumed consulting hours are non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for full details.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use our services to (a) violate any law, (b) infringe intellectual property, (c) send unsolicited bulk messaging or spam, (d) reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code beyond what's permitted by license, (e) impersonate any person or organization, or (f) interfere with the operation of the services.
7. Intellectual property
We retain all intellectual property rights in our products, services, branding, and content. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them under these Terms.
Custom-built deliverables are licensed or assigned per the terms of the relevant engagement letter.
8. Service availability & disclaimers
Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, except as expressly stated. We make commercially reasonable efforts to maintain availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service outside of an Enterprise SLA.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TechieKhalid is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TechieKhalid from any claims arising from your use of the services, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction TBD]. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [Jurisdiction TBD].
12. Dispute resolution
Before initiating any legal action, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute by contacting us at contact@techiekhalid.com. If we cannot resolve it within 30 days, either party may pursue arbitration or court proceedings as permitted by the governing law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a banner on the site at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the services after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
